Some of my woodturnings...

Basket Illusion
Turned and sculpted 15" hollow wood vessel inspired by second-century Roman pottery.  The vessel's construction with wood segments of various sizes and textures symbolizes the archaeological reconstruction of weathered pottery shards.  This piece won a Grand Champion award at the Montgomery County Fair.
Bowl with a segmented ring
Spalted maple bowl
Maple with a segmented band.  This won a Grand Champion award at the Montgomery County Fair, one of two.

A different view.

Turned pots, decorated with presidential caricatures.

Not turnings, but I made women's cat pins for a few years. Generally used exotic woods that I glued up; here is a July 4 pin also.
